The Tegaderm High Performance Foam Adhesive Dressing is designed to be easy to work with and can be applied with one hand even to difficult and anatomically challenging areas of the body such as the heels and elbows, without the need for cutting. It is indicated as the primary dressing for exudate-producing wounds ranging from minimal to severe, including: decubitus ulcers, venous leg ulcers, abrasions, arterial ulcers, skin tears, and neurotrophic ulcers. Other indications for the Tegaderm High Performance Foam Adhesive Dressing include: •Use as a secondary dressing (external coverage) in combination with other wound dressings (such as gauze or alginate dressings). •Use under a rolled bandage to treat venous leg ulcers. This product is not designed, sold, or intended for use except as directed. The Tegaderm High Performance Foam Adhesive Dressing is not designed for use in pressure reduction therapy or as a surgical dressing.
