Technical Details

Novosyn® Quick is used for soft tissue approximation only when the wound can heal within a short period (10-14 days) and the use of a fast-absorbing suture is considered beneficial. Due to its self-dissolving properties, Novosyn® Quick is indicated for skin closure, specifically in pediatric surgery, colostomy closure, and oral mucosa closure. The target population for Novosyn® Quick is adult and pediatric patients of either gender who do not meet any contraindications. There is insufficient evidence to support the use of Novosyn® Quick in pregnant women. The intended users are healthcare professionals with the appropriate training and experience in surgical techniques.
